The Spatial Variation of Cereal Crop Production in Basrah Governorate

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the spatial variation of cereal crop production in Basrah Governorate by studying the geographical distribution of the cultivated areas and the differences in cereal production rates among the administrative units of the governorate, based on official statistical data. The results revealed a clear variation in production levels among districts and sub-districts due to differences in the areas cultivated with cereal crops, which are influenced by both natural and human factors in Basrah Governorate
