Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Basra Researches for Human Sciences follows a double-blind peer review system, where submitted manuscripts are evaluated by independent specialized reviewers without disclosing the identities of either authors or reviewers, ensuring the highest standards of academic integrity and objectivity.

All submitted manuscripts are initially screened to ensure completeness and compliance with the journal’s submission guidelines. Only manuscripts that meet these requirements are forwarded for peer review.

The Editor assesses the suitability of each manuscript for the review process. If considered appropriate, the manuscript is sent to qualified reviewers for scholarly evaluation.

Editorial decisions are based on the reviewers’ reports; however, the Editorial Board is not strictly bound by their recommendations. A significant concern raised by even a single reviewer or by the Editor may result in manuscript rejection.

Authors are provided with the reviewers’ comments along with the final editorial decision regarding their submission.
